So, I'm back from vacation, well I came back a week ago, but forgot to update me blog...

So yeah, I'm back, now it's time to work on UC again...

Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for 4 weeks to Turkey, I'm taking my laptop with me but there be no internetz there, but maybe I can keep ye guys up-to-date when I'm in internet cafe's ;)

New Nightcore...

Not really an update on Undead Chronicles, but still something worthwile because it is created by me, just like UC...

Meet the Squad...

Today I'll show you, a wallpaper I made, meet ZWAT, which stands for Zombie Weapons and Tactics, a take on the modern SWAT teams, with zombies...

From left to right it's: Meiya the Sniper, Yakumo the Leader, Yuji the Demo-man, and Toshirou, the CQC Engineer...

Notice how Yuji's the only one who's not looking angry, yeah, that's because he's the funny guy of the squad...

So here's a sneak peek at one of Meiya's sprites, wanna know why she's all like WTF? Because it's raining here in Holland, whilst it's summer ಠ_ಠ

Just a quick note to say that yes, I am still alive and still working on UC, so here's a quick glance at one of the character bio's who is already finished ;3

Midori Kimiko

Meet Kimiko, a shy but cute girl who keeps her feminine side up while still trying to process what has happened to the world, her father was killed during the outbreak and her mother went missing while fighting in the frontlines against the horde.

Kamijou Toshiro...

So here's sprite #1 for Toshiro, Mr. serious business smartypants, he also has other expressions like being mad/evil, or just a happy/standard face, this you see right now is kinda his ''curious'' or ''What the fuck ಠ_ಠ'' face...

I'm currently working on his second sprite, with this next sprite, he's holding the shotgun in his hands rather than having it on his back, since this sprite you see here is the ''calm state'' sprite, which will be used when you are in the fort or when there arent any zombies/other enemies around, but when you are in danger, you will use the ''aggressive state'' sprite, which is the one I'm working on right now ;)

Also, Meiya is nearly complete as well...

And I'm currently working on drawing Toshiro and Meiya. after I'm done with their sprites, I will test-program and start on the actual game with the Renpy Visual Novel engine...

Sachiko Miki...

Welcome Sachiko Miki, a main character in UC...

She's not a fighter, just a survivor trying to, well uhm, survive >.>

But, in a zombie apocalypse, no one can stay a pacifist ;)

(That's a hint spoiler, which basically means she will eventually have her own gun...)

Behold, the very first sprite for Undead Chronicles, this is Yakumo, our protagonist...

PS. This is just a base test version of Yakumo, he can always still change, or the art can always be improved, not to mention that I will also add some accesoires such as ammo belts and his pistol sidearm...

Character Introductions

Its time for some character introductions ;)

First off we have our protagonist:

Akihoshi Yakumo: Squadleader & weapons expert
Weapon = HK416
Sidearm = Walther P99
Equipment = CB walkie-talkie, EDS, PDA

A caring guy, he is quite the ladies man, although he can sometimes forget that. He sees the zombie apocalypse as a ''new and last chance for humanity'', in which he could rebuild the future, his ideals are to have a future in which he and his little brother Sousuke can live in peace and harmony, but once again, these are just his ideals.

Kamijou Toshiro:
CQC Shotgunner & Engineer
Weapon = Benelli SuperNova Tactical
Sidearm = SIG-P226 (British army standard issue)
Equipment = Schreecher grenades, CB walkie-talkie, EDS


Mister smarty-pants, for every problem, there is a solution, and if the solution does not work properly, there are 99 more theoretical solutions. He is almost like a brother to Yakumo, a brother from another mother. He's always dead serious. Has known Yakumo since kindergarten.

Itou Yuji:
All purpose Rifleman & Demo-man
Weapon = Colt M4 Carbine with M203 grenadelauncher
Sidearm = HK USP Compact
Equipment = various explosives, EDS

The black guy, he is sort of the joker of the team, his words may come out as too ''direct and thoughtless'', but he always means well, he is not your standard ''b-boy gangstah shizzle fo rizzle'' guy, in fact, he does not even like hip-hop, well, not as much as he likes metal. Has known Yakumo since kindergarten.

Izumi Meiya:
Sniper & Reconnaissance
Weapon = Remington M24 bolt action
Sidearm = HK USP Compact
Equipment = Map and prismatic compas, Kukri, EDS

A beautiful girl, she may look innocent, but under that image, she is a lean mean motherf***ing killing machine, even when it's not ''that time of the month''. But of course, she's still a girl with feelings, and feelings tend to get loose at times. Has known Yakumo since high school.
